Mini Cats Galore

Paper pieced, quilted with 3D ears and bead noses. Pattern was from 1996 and the paper piecing technique was reversed from current versions.

Fabric panel cut vertically and inserts added. Just wanted to experiment with this technique. Found the panel and fabric to enhance the image.

Spring Emerging

Crazy Patch Jacket

Machine pieced and decorative machine stitching. The top stitching took about 30 hours at the sewing machine. Easy flowing jacket – fun to wear.

In the Woods

Hand worked counter cross stitch panels on Aida cloth were attached to a machine quilted background with double flange elements that framed the panels.

This was made from a kit by Mount Redoubt Designs purchased at a street sale. I bought it because I loved the colors. It includes fused elements and 3D flower petals with small bead embellishments placed on a machine quilted background.
