Faux Suede Jacket

Cats on a Sweatshirt

It’s Fishy

Painted fabric embellished with embroidery, beads, shells and sand. This started as a piece of white fabric that was painted in a class. The embellishment was inspired by the printed images.

Garden Fireworks

Sawtooth Cats

Machine paper pieced and quilted on home sewing machine. Each cat is made of two fabrics and each one is different. The quilting pattern is paw prints to echo the pieced paw print border.

Winter Sunset

Fabric manipulation, fused felt and machine quilted. The inspiration for this piece came from the copper fabric. It was completed in an NSNG workshop taught by Roz DeBoer.

All Dressed Up

Hand embroidered and fused applique, machine pieced and quilted. The panel of doll dresses called me to add tiny embellishments and get back to hand embroidery. It won Best of Show at a regional fair.
