Small Pinwheel Quilt

Machine piecing, hand quilting, rotary cutting, use of Little Twister Pinwheel tool. Pieced at a quilt retreat, this looks like an Around the World Quilt until using the Twister tool to make the pinwheels.

Fabric painting, needlelace, embroidery, felting. The fabric print was made from the leftover paints at the end of a class. I didn’t want to throw out the paints, but had nothing special in mind. I was pleased when it looked like sediment.

Pearls and Threads

Kumihimo braiding on Maruciai with metallic threads and pearls. I learned Kumihimo as a way to have fiber in my jewelry. Now I’ve embraced the technique!
