Tip Toeing Through the Tula

Machine pieced and quilted on my domestic machine. A quilt made for my sister who, when we were kids, had a fascination with the Big Foot/Yeti legend. All of the pine trees are made from Tula Pink fabric, hence the title. Design Source – Elizabeth Hartman’s “Legendary” pattern.

This was made during the 2017 “Women’s March” and reflects the changing role of women over time; women giving women “a hand up” and the struggle against gender discrimination.
