Hats are created from “up-cycled” garments and some new wool & roving. Designs are felted/sewn on. I bring new life to old garments byupcycling sweaters. I also use new wool, roving and yarn to create botanical designs. Hats are warm & unique.

Eco Print Tote #1Penny Schaubel
I up-cycled a yellow vintage blanket. Tannin rich Leaves are placed on the blanket piece, then rolled around a copper pipe. The bundle is steamed for 2 hours above water containing vinegar and both iron and aluminum objects. The dried fabric is then cut and sewn into this Oragami style tote.
