Machine pieced, hand-dyed, machine quilted (longarm). Created as part of the world tour sewalong, hosted by the pattern designer,  I had hand dyed a stack of bright, spring colors. It needed some additional value  contrasts so I added the black and orange solids. Dense machine quilting took a while.     BillKellerQuilts@gmail.com

Shades of Goth

Valerie Koppenhaver

Machine stitched, machine quilted. This piece is the result from a NSNG Summer Seminar class on kaleidoscope quilting taught by our own Edrene Heill. Cutting and assembly takes advantage of bilaterally symmetrical fabric fused to 45 degree triangular stabilizer, which is then stitched together to make a circle.
