This little quilt is the third iteration for this fabric. Originally the curtains and bedspread for my daughter, Lisa, then it was remade at her son, Sam’s, request. Now the remains have been turned into a small quilt for a possible great grandchild. Long Arm Quilter: Katie Downie.

6″ squares prepared with fusible interfacing, then cut into 5 or 6 “frames” of varying width, and reassembled randomly. Machine quilted

Bucks Point bobbin lace. Handmade in cotton. This piece took around 70 hours to complete.

Binche bobbin lace, worked in silk. Traditional Binche stitches were used to make this wall hanging. Normally the piece would be worked in fine cotton and would measure about 1 1/2 inches square.
