Meditation in PurpleCathy Mendola
beaded, machine pieced, fused, machine embroidered, stapled to canvas frame & mounted in a floating frame I started the beaded centerpiece in order to practice beading. I became ‘hooked’ on the calming, repetitive motion of beading. To me it’s like meditation. The remaining quilted portion just grew as I continued to ‘meditate’ on this piece!
