Sula Sula Sings the BluesAnne Golding
Machine applique and quilting; hand beading. Sula Sula is the Latin name for the red-footed booby, a large Pacific seabird that breeds in the Hawaiian Islands. And, yes, they really have bright red feet.

Machine pieced and quilted. The fabric for Doctor Dog was given to me by a friend who had decided her sewing days were over. I was delighted to receive it, and envisioned a quilt that would be used by a young child at nap-time.
