Not So Easy PiecesBeth Polonsky
Machine pieced & machine quilted. I took a class with Margaret Miller. I wasn’t real fond of the colors and the “calico” prints. So after many many years I decided to “round robin” in batiks. I love the transition from old fabrics to new.

Totally hand done, no machine work on it at all. Hand pieced & hand quilted. I found this spider fabric that I loved. I designed the quilt to accent that fabric. I used the back of my friend’s seat on the bus trip to Paducah as a design wall. Hence
Fractured BeautyMarilyn Pospishil
Machine pieced, hand quilted. I wanted to do something different with this Stephanie Brandenberg panel, so I just randomly cut it up. I used a special metallic thread on the flower to give it some sparkle.

Machine pieced and hand quilted. I thought it would be interesting to do something contemporary with the scraps of martini fabric that a friend gave me.
