God’s Cathedral

Valerie Rodelli

Machine quilted and embellished with thread painting. Small pieces making up design were “encased” with tulle. Nature can be meditative and inspiring. Taking in the beauty and wonder of nature is spiritual “food for thought”.

Good Fit

Martha Ross-Mockaitis

Fused applique, machine stitched and quilted. I took two classes with Bill Kerr last year. I made this quilt following his pattern. A “modern” quilt – so fun!

Peace

Martha Ross-Mockaitis

Fused applique, machine stitched and quilted. I’ve waited 14 years from taking a class with Nancy Lee Chong. The need for peace, in Japanese, is still really needed in the world.

Fall Gourds

Martha Ross-Mockaitis

Batik fabrics, fused applique and machine quilting. I’m now only using the MistyFuse fusible product for applique. This was so fun to make!

Magic Inch

Martha Ross-Mockaitis

Machine pieced and quilted. This uses the Modern Quilt Studio’s “Magic Inch”. This was a true challenge for me – two months to make! Next time I’ll skip the sashing…

Stars in the Garden

Prairie Star

Amy Spungen

Machine pieced and quilted. This quilt is based on the Prairie Star pattern designed by Judy Niemeyer. I used batik fabrics from my stash.
