All these photos were taken of flowers in the Chicago Botanic Garden. I work with them in Photoshop, print them on fabric and then stitch however the flower tells me it wants to be stitched.

Layered dryer fabric sheets sewn together and tea dyed; beading, This is a garment that I made and entered into one of the GreenCraft magazines. It is using what you would normally throw away after drying the clothes and turning it into something wearable.

Patchwork, Looking at a colour wheel really puts a big smile on my face. I am working on a series of quilts where I take different patterns from the colour wheel, make 9-patch squares from 2″ squares and then sew those 9-patch squares together. The colour combinations seem to be endless.

Hand knitted using a cotton/linen blend. I loved the colour of this yarn and had to try making some for summer. This is a comfortable top to wear, even when it is hot outside.
