Hand-dyed, hand cut and torn fabrics, heat bonded collage, machine stitched. When I walk into a beautiful garden the color strikes me first, but no matter what time of day, the garden glows with its own light.

Hand-dyed, heat bonded appliqué, machine stitched. Growing up in a family if 4 children, we had our share of split milk at the dinner table. Now at family gatherings when the drinks overturn we all stand up, toast and cheer.

Hand-dyed commercial fabrics, candy wrappers, rick-rack, fortunes, buttons, paperclips, netting, vegetable bags, yarn, thread, heat bonded applique, machine stitched. I love watching fireworks; the colors, the noise, the suspense, the movement all provide inspiration.

Wool, silk, cotton, mixed content fibers. Machine stitched and shaped. I am inspired by the natural texture of branches, vines and bark.

Many things cause turbulence in our lives: the economy, politics, social disparity, health, personal loss, emotional unrest, mental hardships…and the wind. (Machine stitched yarns, threads, fibers. Shaped and stiffened.)
