Banyon TreeJoan Galantha
Free motion machine, layering, quilting (machine). For me, the Banyon Tree represents life’s journey. Standing tall, strong, and setting down permanent roots.
I Saw It, I Wanted It, I Made ItSandra Geis
Machine pieced, machine quilted. I always enjoy Kaffe quilts, but once in a while I just have to have one exactly like in the book. The machine quilting was done by my friend Anne Spiotta, Blue House Quilts.
Circus Poster 1 – The ElephantsAnne Goldberg
Fusible applique; machine quilting; bead and ribbon embellishment. This quilt was designed for the IQI June challenge. I’m iffy about using real elephants in a circus, but quilted elephants are OK.
Comet Quil-hou-tekDiane Greening
Machine pieced and quilted commercial fabrics with angelina embellishment. The design of the flying comet was inspired by the IQI Challenge fabric that looked like outer space to me, so I used it for the background.
