Machine “crazy” pieced and machine quilted. I’ve become obsessed with “reuse, recycle”. The roses in the quilt are made entirely from small scraps left over from other projects.
Machine pieced and quilted. I saw something like this in a Pottery Barn catalogue long ago. I put it together from scraps of other projects and really loved the result.
Machine pieced and quilted. With a challenge piece, I hope that the fabrics will speak to me. These particular fabrics spoke of roots digging deep into the soil with just a bit of leaf growth above.
Bobbin lace & Kumihimo Braiding In this piece, the lone, red thread travels from the chaotic wild ground in the lower portion to the orderly Rose Ground Bobbin laced in the top corner.
