Machine embroidered, machine pieced & quilted. The background came from leftovers from another piece. It provided the inspiration for this piece.

Machine quilt as you go with piping. Couldn’t pass when I saw this pattern. Not difficult to make.

Machine pieced & quilted. Embellished with paint, paintsticks and beading. Experiment with embellishing using paint & beads to accent the fish.

Machine pieced – blocks cut apart & restitched. This piece looks like complicated piecing & stitching but its really just sewing square blocks.

Strip pieced, machine quilted. It’s all straight stitching. Looks complicated but it’s not.

Machine pieced, cut, restitched. The pinwheels all started as 5″ squares – just the trick of cutting and restitching creates the pinwheels.
