Machine quilted using built-in stitches, Bernina 830. While I designed, pieced and quilted this, the fabrics are from Martha Sampsell’s life-time collection of her clothing.

Strip pieced & sewn to muslin form by machine. Purse was made from fabric leftovers. Fabric color selection was the key to this jacket.

Fabric painting, needlelace, embroidery, felting. The fabric print was made from the leftover paints at the end of a class. I didn’t want to throw out the paints, but had nothing special in mind. I was pleased when it looked like sediment.
