Shredded fabric art quilt; machine quilting. When the December 12, 2014 issue of Science was published the cover photo of a hoatzin bird captured my imagination – wondering how birds evolved. Though the head is spectacular, the bird’s body is quite monochromatic. This was a fun project to continue my exploration of the shredded fabric technique.
