Hand stitched and painted raw silk of views from photographs of The Three Gorges. The amazing beauty of The Three Gorges area of the Yangtze River has been drastically changed by the implementation of the Three Gorges Dam. I took pictures during a trip prior to the filling of the gorges. this tunic is my way of preserving the majesty.
