Haporeis Sukkat Shalom means to spread a shelter of peace over us. It was created in the spirit of l’dor v’dor, meaning passing tradition from generation to generation. The tree was fused to background, then students cut, placed and fused each leaf. All who participated signed the back of the quilt.
