Commercial fabrics, fabric paint embellishment. Machine appliquéd, couched yarn, ribbon & hand beading. Coming home from work on a warm day, I saw a storm approaching as I was nearing my home. I was in awe of how ominous it looked and how it made me feel. I wanted to express that with motion of the beads and paint and with the dark clouds on top, while you could still see that yonder there was sunlight approaching and the storm would not be a long one.
