Machine pieced, hand appliquéd, embellished with beads, buttons, pins, hand embroidery. This quilt was made for my sister and it depicts the two of us and many things that are important to us. This quilt was started in a class given by Mary Lou Weidman and uses her ‘story quilt’ techniques. Judge’s recognition, Duchess Heritage Quilt Show (Poughkeepsie, NY). Third place ribbon, Northern Star Quilters Guild World of Quilts, 2003 (Somers, NY).
