IQI Paper pieced & quilted on a domestic sewing machine. Sails and boats have 2 extra layers of batting. The two sides were quilted individually, bound together by machine and finished by hand. Started in a paper piecing workshop taught by my daughter, Mary Newcomb. It is a birthday present for my younger daughter, Susan Jenks, who loves to sail. The Happy Birthday side makes it appropriate for future birthdays of friends and family.
