Runaround

Kim Goldberg

Illinois Quilters, Inc. (IQI) offered a workshop with Sue Pawlowski of Jack Squares Studio to make a “Good for the Gander” table runner. The flying geese in the pattern were made using a template, and Sue also taught the partial seam method for putting the blocks together. These are two techniques that were new to me, so it was a good challenge. While I usually don’t do very detailed quilting, this was the most intricate work I have done on my sewing machine, using a walking foot.
