Returning Home to the Sea – Fine Art of Fiber

I have a deep love for the sea. I wantted to incorporate an old quilt pattern (log cabin) with a modern technique (raw edge applique). I then added a hand embroidered octopus returning home. Machine quilted by Sue Daurio.
