Machine pieced and quilted. Phil was a great man, meticulously dressed and avid tie collector. I was the proud recipient of many, many, many of his ties whenever he purged his closet. This quilt is in memory of him and was made with over 120 of Phil’s ties. How can you not be “Happy Every Day” in one of Phil’s ties? The back of the quilt has his initials, PHC, and tie labels. The quilt is my own design and was quilted by Sally Evanshank from Windy City Quilting.
