Nuno felted, hand dyed fabrics, painting, surface design, beading, stitching. This piece was shown in Verona, Italy in march 2011 where it won best use of color in an International Textile Competition. The theme was “Silk Roads Meet in Verona” and this was my interpretation. There are layers representing the depth of the cultural influence imprinted upon Verona by its past presence.
