Entry in NSNG guild challenge “Over the Moon”. I drew the moon on cotton fabric and traced the bird outline from a photo. The fabric was then painted with acrylics and stitched with free motion machine quilting. I wanted to show the magnificence and strength of the bird’s triumphant flight as high as the moon.
