Curved piecing, paper piecing, long arm quilting. I started this project, pattern by Karen Stone, about 15 years ago. I was pretty much self-taught and came close to finishing it but just couldn’t do a few final curved seams and put it in a box for many years. Finally, after years of looking at it a friend, Frances, offered to sew the few remaining seams. Marla Margelewski did the custom quilting on her longarm.
