Mysterious Way of Working

An adventurous way to add new skills to our felt making process, the class was directed to create a mysterious art work without an inkling of how the final project would be used. I sometimes create my own felt pieces without a drawing, and this experimental exercise resonated for me. Freed from expectations of how or what the finished piece was going to look like, I learned a tremendous amount about color blending, and most important, I was part of a grand experiment in playful design, open mind
