For this quilt I was inspired by a commercial fabric that looked like city windows, as I’ve always liked to explore older European cities with their different shaped stained glass windows. Also, The Milwaukee Museum of Art had a Mid-Century exhibit where the color orange was featured in many items on display, and that re-kindled my interest in the color orange. This quilt, which was my first, brought those two loves together.
