Pieced by me. Machine pieced – machine quilted by Sally Evanshank. I made this quilt for my friend Maria when she turned 50. She is a quilter that has inspired and helped me to pursue quilting. Now, five years later, hence the name, I have it finished. Not that it took me that long to piece; it sat around because she said I should quilt it myself. I thought it was time she got her quilt for ther 55th birthday since it might take another five years for me to finish quilting.
