Log Cabin, Flowers and Birds

I love the old fashioned look of the log cabin pattern using fabrics from my earlier days of making quilts. I wanted to practice my machine applique skills and machine quilting. I designed and made the the quilt myself. The flower patterns were from the book Raw Edge Applique by Sue Nichols and Pat Holly from whom I first learned machine applique. I’ve learned so much from them at their quilting retreats. I found the bird patterns elsewhere. I am new to machine quilting.
