Machine quilted, hand-painted fabric, fuzzy cut fish and fused, hand cut toothpick size fabric, fused batik leaves, hand done yo-yos, hand beaded, angelina fibers for glitz, hand cut yarn, ribbons, for “sea weed”, “Trout” (large) is appliqued by machine This piece entails “6 layers”. 1) backing, 2) batting “thermore”, 3) constructed with all the above named tachniques. 4) on top of hand painted flannel fabric. 5) and 6) I doubled the netting for reinforcement of 3rd layer. Also, the backing fabric creates another view on the back of the quilt. The bias border represents the murky waters of the lake.
