Lace-and-Vine Embrace

Joomchi paper lantern, made using multiple layers of mulberry paper. A layer of pinhole lace is supported by additional layers of mulberry paper laminated with larger lace openings. Joomchi string is lightly stitched, with beading, to encircle the lantern with a vining embrace.
