Machine pieced and quilted. This quilt is dedicated to the memory of Gale Wessel. Gale’s leadership qualities and calm demeanor as co-chair of this show (FAOF) were admired and appreciated by all those involved in the show. This was her favorite quilt and was an original pattern. Her love and use of color is very evident in it. She took her inspiration from photos and then went “her own way” with the design. Although she is missed by all who knew her, she left an art legacy which continues to inspire others today. Glad we knew you, Gale!
