A friend traveled to India and brought back a photo of a man with birds flying around him as he threw food from a plastic bag. I changed the city scene to a beach setting and surrounded the man with more birds, sky and water. One of the reasons I love to use birds in my work is to show how they take care of basic needs and simultaneously nurture beauty.
