I first saw this design as a hand appliqué pattern which I knew I’d never finish. Then I found it as a machine embroidery appliqué pattern. My plan was to do 3 or 4 blocks since each block takes a long time to do. The blocks were created with multiple hoopings to make the intricate designs. Each block was so beautiful that I had to finish all of them. Black sashing and border makes each block look like its own unique garden. Awarded Exemplary Appliqué at MVQG Great River Quilt Show 2022.
