Corn is an improvisational medallion quilt in a series I’ve been working on for a few years. The colors in the center Corn square influenced the scrap fabric choices in the quilt. To bead and elevate a basic vegetable is quirky and amusing to me. Corn’s sister quilt is Sunflower which was made around the same time.
