Illinois Quilters Inc. (IQI) offered a foundation paper piecing workshop with Allie McCathren. The project was a deco tile, reminiscent of the Art Deco style. I enjoy paper piecing but had not worked with such small line pieces before, so that was a challenge. While the workshop was intended to make three squares with gradually darker colors in the middle in each subsequent square, I decided to make only one in the gray color. It would be fun to use brighter colors to make three squares.
