Machine piecing, hand applique, hand beading & embroidery. My husband Bill and I were married in 1976 and he died in 2006, just before our 30th anniversary. This quilt shows the two of us and is a tribute to our life together. Bill always wore a blue blazer and khaki pants. I used a pair of his khakis to make the pants for this quilt. Third place ribbon, Duchess Heritage Quilt Show 2009 (Poughkeepsie, NY). This quilt was published in the book “Out of the Box: Unleash Your Creativity Through Quilts” by Mary Lou Weidman (That Patchwork Place, 2009).
