Machine pieced by me and quilted on a Gammill long arm machine by Dawn Larsen, Vernon Hills, IL. This quilt pattern, “Scraps and Stars”, was offered as a Block of the Month at A Touch of Amish in Barrington. I decided to use fabrics from my own voluminous stash, but wanted to see how the blocks would look in both 1930s reproduction fabrics (mainly pastels) and pink and brown fabrics. These two quilts show viewers how different the same quilt pattern looks in two color combinations. Both were quilted by Dawn Larsen of Vernon Hills, IL.
