Machine pieced & quilted. Evan originally requested birds but after looking at many bird patterns I determined that BIRDS would never get pieced! Evan picked many of the fabrics and pieced and ironed many of the squares. The back is made up of one of Evan’s favorite patterns: leopard. Reversible.

Machine pieced and quilted I was lucky enough to get a silkscreen of Obama’s head so I could participate in the inaugural challenge. What an exciting time!

Hand and machine appliqué and piecing; hand quilting When the IQI challenge was announced as “Food, Glorius Food” it was very interesting to hear what everyone “saw” in their packets. I LOVE salad and always want to eat the leftovers.

Machine pieced, machine appliqué, machine quilted. I love scraps and I love using them up. This quilt is made of, primarily, a box of leftover strips from another project. I was thrilled with the result, and Amy Parker quilted it for me.
