My friend Joy sent me a photo of her foster dog, and it struck me as ideal pose for a pop-art quilt portrait. By tinkering with the settings in the photo app I was able to get the effect I wanted, and that photo is the basis of the quilt. Josh is a seeing-eye dog now.
