I’m more of an improvisational quilter, so challenge quilts push me out of my comfort zone. A deadline, smaller scale, limited materials and trying something new have been a fun combination. I envisioned a simple but formal table setting. I loved adding the mini wrenches and beading to “dress it up” and thought the mustard bottle added a bit of humor. It was fun to be a part of this group project and to see everyone’s creativity.
