Hand pieced and hand stitched boro jacket. Each piece was individually cut and sewn onto the panels.
All of the fabrics used in the pieced area are hand dyed linens or cottons. Each piece is stitched down individually. It took about 6 months to make the panels. Then construct the jacket. The jacket is several layers of fabric, the pieced work is on denim, then attached to another layer of denim, then lining inside the jacket. It’s actually very warm to wear.
