Hand embroidered, hand and machine quilted. “Sunbonnet Babies” were first published in the late 1890’s by Bertha L. Corbett and have been widely adapted and varied over the years. These pictures of the “Sunbonnet Sisters” are my adaptation and additions to a 1929 alphabet quilt pattern by Bertha Corbett in a 1989 copy of Quilt World magazine.
