Machine quilted, hand painted fabric, hand-cut fish fused, embellished with: cut yarn, angelina fibers, cut ribbons, hand-cut toothpick size fabric to construct 3rd layer of fabric. 4th & 5th netting (navy blue) to keep everything in place to quilt. Bias Original design executed by Elizabeth H. Mini. (5) layers to make each pattern piece. 1st lace from France purchased in Honduras 2012, 2nd handpainted flannel, 3rd layered fish, ribbons & yarns. Also, this garment finish off inside to become reversible. The bias tape reminded me of bubbles from the fish.
