Stack-n-Whack technique – machine pieced – machine quilted. The Beach Balls quilt was a class taught by Jan Aaron (IQI) using the Magic Stack-n-Whack Quilts book by Reynolds. All the Beach Balls are cut from one fabric and the pattern is different for each one depending on where you cut from. This quilt has been sitting around for a while because I thought it was too big. The design is my own and I wanted to split up the “Beach Balls” with the straight lines as if you were playing volley ball.
