Thread painting.
This was a series of 6 photos that I found in my collection. Each is a person I have
known. The girl with the big standing doll is me! It struck me how little girls are
influenced as we grow up and I wanted to show two different perspectives. Each
picture is a 3×5 photo transferred to cotton fabric and painted with thread using
free motion stitching on my sewing machine.
